Hello! My name is Charlotte and I am a current Junior at Norwhestern University. I am currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a Design Concentration, a Human-Computer Interactions (HCI) Certificate, and the Segal Design Certificate. Expected Graduation from Northwestern University in June 2027.

I am involved on campus in Baja Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the off road racecar team. My current project involves designing the seat of the car to be comfortable and aesthetically pleasing while still meeting safety regulations, as well as welding the frame. Last year, it was my job to ensure that all electronic aspects of the car were properly waterproofed.

I am also the co-president of Northwestern's HeForSWE committe, the only Society of Women Engineers (SWE) committe which encourages men to join. Throuought the year, we host various events with the goal of inspiring people of all genders to spread awareness and drive dialogue about gender inequality in STEM fields. Under my leadership this year, committee membership has grown extensively.

In my free time, I also enjoy pursuing creative interests such as sewing, crocheting, and ceramics. I am very passionate about the intersection between creativity and analytics as a method for problem solving and generatign unique solutions, and strive to implement the user-centered design process at every step in order to promote usable and accessible solutions.
